Our eBlocker is a plug & play device which is simply connected to the router via a network cable.
For the majority of routers it works right away: after a few minutes the automatic configuration is completed and the eBlocker icon appears automatically on each called website.
However, there are a few routers that are not compatible with the plug & play of our eBlocker. In most cases, the individual setup helps to run the router in your network. In very rare cases, there is no solution (yet).
Tim from our eBlocker support team attaches great importance to know as many routers as possible, to support our customers individually during commissioning.
This is why Tim tests routers every week. Sometimes he even sacrifices his free time, because during work he is often very busy working on customer requests. Last week, various routers from different manufacturers were stacked at our eBlocker office – a welcome weekend job :-)
AVM FritzBox 7580, testing time: 10:30PM, 100% plug&play compatible
Level-One, testing time: 11:05PM, 100% plug&play compatible
Tenda N301, testing time: 7:13AM, 100% plug&play compatible
TP-Link TL-AC5400, testing time: 6:50AM, 100% plug&play compatible
Of course Of course, Tim cannot test every single router in the world and is therefore very happy about customer feedback. If you own a router that does not work with the eBlocker optimally and is not yet listed on our compatibility list, we look forward to your feedback.
Do you have questions or need help with your eBlocker? No problem. Tim will be glad to answer your questions. Just write to firstname.lastname@example.org. He will come back to you as soon as possible.Back to Category Overview
