Inside the eBlocker enclosure there is a Banana PI M2 board – the mini computer the eBlockerOS is running on.
Although we have had a commitment for at least 100,000 boards from the manufacturer, we have unfortunately received the message that the Banana PI M2
board is EOL (End Of Live). The production is discontinued since the base chip set is no longer produced. We have reacted immediately and found a very good alternative: the successor Banana PI M2+
This board will be available in sufficient quantities by the end of April. The manufacturer has guaranteed to support this board for the next four years.
Last Friday we’ve received the first test units and over the weekend implemented a first “raw” version of eBlocker OS. It is running fine – but there is still much work to do.
